Little Governors is located on the edge of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, accessible by a very short boat ride across the Mara River, then an escorted walk through the riverine forest.

The camp consists of 17 spacious luxurious safari tents entirely under canvas. The guest tents at Little Governors are all tucked into the edge of the forest overlooking a natural waterhole frequented by many animals. They have polished wooden decks with large verandas to enable guests to relax and enjoy the panorama of animals visiting the watering hole in front.
