&Beyond Bateleur Camp is a luxurious, 5-star tented safari lodge located in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. It is set on the Kichwa Tembo private concession, at the foot of the scenic Oloololo escarpment, and offers a vintage, elegant safari experience.
Bateleur Camp is situated on the western border of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya. Set of a private concession leased from the Maasai landlords, the camp lies at the base of the Oloololo escarpment just below the spot where Out of Africa’s most famous scene was shot.
The Camp
The camp overlooks the plains of the Maasai Mara and lies directly in the path of what is considered to be the greatest spectacle of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
Accommodation
The Camp consist of 9 spacious tents with shingle roof, wooded doors and a private deck.
Each tent is luxuriously furnished with gleaming wooden floors and wooden-framed beds, overhead fan, twin hand basins, shower, en-suit bathroom, cupboards, leather chairs and writing table.
Food
Pan –African cuisine often served in the woods – dinner and breakfast.
