Mara Bushtops Overview

Offbeat Mara Camp is a seasonal camp, which lies on the river on the Olare Orok Koyiaki Group Ranch (adjacent to the Maasai Mara National Reserve).

This small “tented camp” offers a true traditional safari experience in the Maasai Mara, lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo are frequently seen. But even more importantly – the camp is far away from other lodges and safari camps, making the game viewing is done “away from the masses.

Accommodation

The camp consists of 12 large safari tents accommodating up to 24 guests. Each safari tent has a large comfortable bed, desk, sitting area, 24-hour lighting (solar powered) and an en-suite bathroom with the “bucket shower ', sink and toilet.

Food

The breakfast is extensive with eggs as desired, freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and juices. A light lunch in the afternoon in the 'mess’ tent served. Dinner consists of three courses every night.

Guides

At Offbeat Mara Camp you will be expertly guided around the Mara by born and bred Maasai Guides. Your guide will take you on all your game drives and become your teacher and mentor in the bush.
