Richard’s Camp is located in the private Mara North Conservancy Perfectly situated on the banks of the Njageteck River, the camp allows for total privacy and exclusivity. The Ngoyanai springs provide permanent water, drawing in large numbers of animals to the area around camp. This camp is also particularly known for its resident lion pride which can often been seen hunting right in front of the camp, and most always can be heard roaring during the night.

Richard’s River Camp is a traditional tented camp in true African safari style with a few modern surprises. As the weather almost always permits, meals are most often enjoyed outdoors under Kenyan skies. During those rare rainy or chilly evenings, dining moves indoors, adjacent to the beautiful, cozy sitting room with a roaring fire.

Accommodation

With only seven tents, this camp is ideal for individuals as well as exclusive groups who wish to experience the Maasai Mara in a personal intimate setting.

The Camp consist 7 large and spacious custom designed tents feature an en suite flush toilet and heated shower.

Each individually decorated tent has either twin or double beds with extra beds available for families. Their solar system provides clean, silent power and ensures 24-hour light to all the tents.
